well I think that the genre of the sex drugs and rock n roll can never been done better than Gia, this was an interesting attempt. I enjoyed the Andy Warhol aspect and it would have been nice if there had been more art, less mylar balloons.

It did bring up a questions of why Edie committed suicide. I read a blurb thing that said that bob Dylan's people felt it reflected him in a poor light and a cause of her committing suicide. She seemed pretty darn FUCT up to me before he showed up. and one doesn't cause another to commit suicide. that is a choice that she made.

I did enjoy the scene where they found a girl "just like Edie". Andy made average things famous and invigorating, copying them over and over. Edie, he made average by making her iconic, something to be copied. Millions of girls wanted to be her. I wonder if that was his intent all along.

I did like the way it was shot. so over the top, full of techniques that were "artsy" at the time. That made it more fun. and the horse..... oh the horse.

I give it a 7/10.....

in other news, I drank a whole pot of coffee today, and I hate the double L combination.
